Serving the Community
Since Our Founding
Burhani Guards Ujjain is a volunteer security and service organization established under the direction of Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin (T.U.S.) to manage and facilitate the smooth running of religious gatherings, community events, and public functions across the Ujjain region.
Modelled after the international Burhani Guards organization, our unit operates with the same values of discipline, precision, and devotion — managing Ashara Mubaraka, Milaad Mubaraka, Zikra, and numerous community Miqaats (functions) throughout the year.
Our guards are more than volunteers — they are ambassadors of the community, trained in crowd management, first aid, public assistance, emergency response, and organizational leadership. Each member contributes to a legacy of excellence that strengthens our community with every passing year.

Ashara Mubaraka
Annual 10-Day Commemorations
The most significant event in the Dawoodi Bohra calendar. BGI Ujjain deploys its full force to manage security, crowd flow, and logistical operations across multiple venues over ten sacred days. Our guards ensure every momin can participate in peace and safety.
Milaad Mubaraka
Birth Anniversaries & Milad Celebrations
Joyous celebrations honouring the birth anniversaries of the Imams and Du'at Mutlaqeen. BGI Ujjain coordinates venue operations, procession management, parking, and public safety to ensure these blessed gatherings run seamlessly.
Zikra Programs
Commemorative Gatherings
Annual Zikra programs marking the anniversaries of revered Du'at Mutlaqeen require careful coordination. BGI Ujjain manages entry points, seating arrangements, sound coordination, and overall event flow to honour these solemn occasions with dignity.

Assistant Commander
Supports Commander in planning and execution; leads specific operations and deputises in absence.
Major
Oversees multiple divisions, coordinates inter-divisional operations, and reports directly to command.
Division Captain
Leads an individual division, manages division members, duty assignments, and on-ground operations.
Section Leader
Manages a section within a division, provides direct mentorship and supervision to field members.

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a member of the Dawoodi Bohra community
- Age between 18 and 50 years
- Physically fit and capable of field duties
- Committed to regular attendance and training
- Possess a valid ITS (Idara-e-Tahaffuz-e-Shari'at) number
- Willing to adhere to BGI code of conduct
